Example project summary

Recent projects have included a gender pay gap report for Roadchef alongside a suite of internal communications for another global organisation. Across both, the focus was on creating polished, professional communications that could remain useful long after the initial design was delivered.

For Roadchef, I designed a gender pay gap report that transformed detailed corporate information into a clear, engaging publication, with careful consideration given to information hierarchy, data visualisation and brand consistency.

For the internal communications project, I created a suite of portrait and landscape posters for use across digital screens and physical environments, alongside supporting intranet imagery. Rather than supplying only fixed artwork, editable PowerPoint versions enabled internal teams to update content, reuse designs and print materials themselves, reducing the need for ongoing external design support. Where professional printing was required, fully artworked InDesign versions were also created and supplied print-ready.

The result was a flexible, future-proofed communication system that balanced high-quality design with practical everyday use. By selecting the right format for each application, the client gained professionally designed materials without becoming dependent on a designer for every future content change.

Strategy

Every project begins by understanding what you need to communicate, who needs to engage with it and how it will ultimately be used. Together, we'll define the audience, content, format and technical requirements, whether the final piece needs to be interactive, professionally printed or easily editable by your internal team.

Everyone's way of working is different. Some clients prefer a quick video call, while others manage the entire project via email. Either approach works perfectly.

Creation

Within a few days, you'll receive an initial visual concept showcasing a selection of key pages or layouts. This allows us to align on the overall direction before the full piece is developed.

Once approved, I transform your content into clear, engaging communications designed around how your audience will actually use them, from interactive digital documents to editable collateral and print-ready artwork.

Launch

Following a final review, every detail is refined and the artwork prepared for its intended use.

You'll receive fully optimised files for digital, print or internal editing, with supporting assets and practical guidance included where required to make future updates straightforward.
